Base Airlie Beach Resort, Airlie Beach

I had a great stay overall, especially before my Whitsunday trip! The rooms were spacious and having an en suite was a big plus. However, while I enjoyed my time, I did notice some areas that could use improvement, like the kitchen cleanliness and Wi-Fi issues. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to nearby shops and the beach.

I had quite a mix of experiences at this hostel. The location is excellent and really close to the bar, which had a vibrant atmosphere. However, the facilities left a lot to be desired, with limited kitchenware and dirty rooms. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly helpful, making my stay somewhat enjoyable despite the downsides.

I had an amazing time at Base in Airlie Beach! The atmosphere was vibrant, especially at the Shed Bar, and the pool was fantastic for lounging around. The rooms were spacious and clean, though I did struggle a bit with the tricky lock mechanisms. Overall, great value for money, especially with such helpful staff and daily activities.

The resort is situated in a prime location, close to town and within walking distance to the marina. While I had a great experience with the friendly staff, especially Doel, who made my stay enjoyable by accommodating my group, I was slightly annoyed by the lack of cleanliness in some amenities. The value for money was decent, but the noise from nearby bars made it challenging to find peace at times.

I had a fairly decent stay at the hotel. The location was a real plus, as it was conveniently close to shops and restaurants, but the atmosphere felt a bit touristy and uninviting. The room was spacious, yet showed signs of wear and tear. I did appreciate the ample space, but the plumbing noise was a bit distracting. The dining situation could have been better, especially with some issues I encountered regarding cleanliness. Overall, it's a mixed bag with some good aspects but also areas that need improvement.
